Emergency Veterinarian (78052)

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned hospital hiring a full-time Overnight Emergency Veterinarian. The hospital predominantly sees cats and dogs, with exotics seen at the doctor's discretion. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to work in a dedicated emergency setting.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Overnight Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of ER responsibilities, managing emergency and urgent care cases during overnight shifts. This is a full-time position working 4 nights per week, with specific hours to be discussed. The role is open to experienced veterinarians and requires confidence in handling a broad range of emergency presentations and treatments.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of ER services and is equipped with Samsung ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratories, four exam rooms, Ezyvet, Vetradar, Vello (on order), Sedivue, oxygen units, and much more. The hospital operates Wednesday from 4pm-12am, Thursday from 6pm-12am, Friday through Sunday on a 24-hour basis, Monday until 8am before reopening from 4pm-12am, and Tuesday from 4pm-12am.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, creating a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality emergency care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
