We're looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a dedicated compounding pharmacy team in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with hands-on non-sterile compounding experience who enjoys working closely with providers and patients!
Location: North Central Houston, TX
Contract Details: 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. No weekends!
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify prescriptions for non-sterile compounded medications.
Oversee compounding operations in compliance with USP 795 standards.
Complete final pharmacist verification before dispensing.
Maintain compliance with applicable FDA, DEA, and Texas pharmacy regulations.
Manage provider and patient questions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Active Texas pharmacist license.
1–3 years of pharmacist experience in a compounding, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting.
Direct hands-on experience with non-sterile compounding is required!
