Senior Business Lending Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Lending Relationship Manager drives growth by developing and managing strong commercial relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding SESLOC's presence in key markets. The role proactively builds relationships with business owners, commercial real estate investors, and referral partners to understand their needs and deliver appropriate financing solutions. The Relationship Manager manages an ongoing portfolio of member business loans with accountability for relationship growth, portfolio quality, profitability, and performance.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success in business development, including cultivating new relationships and expanding existing commercial portfolios
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities through market awareness, networking, referral relationships, and proactive outreach
• Strong understanding of financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and commercial credit fundamentals
• Experience structuring commercial real estate loans and business lending solutions, including lines of credit and term financing
• Ability to manage complex lending relationships and maintain a high-performing portfolio Knowledge of commercial lending practices, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, manage deadlines, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making
• Commitment to staying informed on industry trends and market conditions that impact commercial lending

Education/Experience:

A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field and five to eight years of progressive commercial lending or related experience with a financial institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
