Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Deliver patient care by utilizing the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer and monitor patient responses to medications
• Guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel
• Maintain high customer service standards and professional nursing standards
• Document patient assessment and care plans accurately
• Assume role of charge nurse and demonstrate proficiency in Nursing Informatics
• Participate in monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of patient care
• Adhere to safety procedures and update knowledge of care techniques regularly
• Maintain confidentiality and represent the hospital professionally

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) required
• Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam
• Documented attendance at Fetal Monitor Course every 2 years (Intermediate or Advanced)
• Current certification in American Academy of Pediatric Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
• Recent OB experience within the last 2 years required
• CPI (Crisis Prevention) preferred
