Senior PLC Design Engineer

Working remotely, the full-time Senior PLC Design Engineer will lead the independent design and development of PLC-based control systems for industrial and building automation applications, ensuring the delivery of accurate design packages while mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of PLC-based control systems, including control panel layouts and wiring diagrams Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful execution and resolve design conflicts Perform QA/QC reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and workflows Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical Expert-level understanding of PLC-based control systems and industrial networks Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, UL 508A) 5+ years of experience in controls design or industrial automation
