Join our Critical Care Unit team as a Registered Nurse in this fast-paced ICU/PCU hybrid environment. This position offers daily challenges with a diverse patient mix, including Neuro, Spine, Cardiac, Medical, and Surgical patients. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU experience, especially with critical care equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, and open-heart procedures. You will provide quality care while floating across various inpatient units, managing complex cases, and conducting own codes.

Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), scheduled for three shifts per week

Start Date: April 26, 2026

Coverage expected on every other weekend

Holiday coverage as needed, with a note to avoid time off during the World Cup (June 11 - July 19)

Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience

Experience with balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, open hearts, and lab draws

License: Kansas RN or Compact RN License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHF

Ability to float to all inpatient units including PCU, Med/Surg, Tele, and ED

Able to independently manage consults, codes, and vascular access procedures

Hourly Pay Rate: $88.50

Orientation: 2 days at KUKC campus, followed by in-person and virtual Epic training

Bi-weekly pay period

Cancellation policy allows one shift cancellation per 2-week pay period with a 2-hour notice
