RN E/O Weekend 7am-3pm

Registered Nurse – Every Other Weekend-Day Shift 7am-3pm Are you ready to make a profound impact on the lives of seniors while advancing your nursing career? At the Lutheran Community at Telford, a Grace Inspired Living community, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the physical and psychosocial needs of our cherished residents are met with the utmost dignity and compassion. Your Responsibilities: Start your shift by receiving a comprehensive shift report to ensure seamless care continuity. Assume leadership by coordinating the care of residents with appropriate personnel. Maintain accountability by accurately counting narcotics with the off-going nurse. Adhere to facility, state, and federal regulations while administering scheduled medications. Perform scheduled treatments, wound assessments, and documentation as per facility policy. Document vital information on residents, including 7-day assessments for MDS documentation, alert charting, monthly summaries, and incidents/accidents. Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders, and prepare for physician rounds. Communicate resident or staff issues to appropriate personnel. Attend meetings and in-services as required. The 11pm - 7am nurse is responsible for neighborhood medication sheet re-caps. Position Requirements: Completion of Registered Nurse program. One year experience in a nursing environment. Three years experience in Geriatric Nursing (preferred). Registered Nurse license in the state of PA.
