As a Security Officer - Access Verification in Greer, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role blends routine patrols with strong customer service and communication, backed by a caring culture, teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

Pay Rate: $18.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor direction and general information, and help to support an orderly environment within the location.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
