The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations by safely handling materials, operating forklifts, and ensuring organized storage. Working under the Warehouse Manager, this position involves a mix of manual tasks and basic software usage to support inventory management during standard daytime shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move materials safely within the warehouse
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
- Transport materials to designated locations accurately and efficiently
- Pick orders according to specifications and prepare for shipment
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator
- Experience with forklift operation and material handling
- Strong awareness of safety compliance standards
- Ability to load and unload goods effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Good teamwork and communication skills
