Vehicle Technician

Our client, an innovative leader in vehicle technology and engineering, is seeking a Sr. Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Sr. Vehicle Technician, you will be an integral part of the Vehicle Maintenance Department supporting fleet operations and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Vehicle Technician Location: Austin, TX Pay Range: $46/hr. (1st-3rd shift differential pay avail) What's the Job? Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure fleet readiness Coordinate and oversee the repair process, escalating issues to engineering teams as needed Create diagnostic test plans and maintain detailed service records and quality reports Maintain shop facilities, tools, and workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment What's Needed? Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials Minimum of 2 - 4 years of technician experience in a related field Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills; honest and responsible What's in it for me?
