This unique position is responsible for processing and placing all incoming materials on our store floor. It is a very important process for our retail stores and a great opportunity to learn the mechanics behind the scenes in retail. Requirements Education and Experience Required: Any combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job. Preferred: N/A. Knowledge & Abilities Required: Ability to work with others collaboratively to achieve a shared goal. Ability to work within established guidelines. Physical Demands Requires standing and walking and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, and reaching with hands and arms. Requires frequent lifting and moving of light items, up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds. May be required to stand for entire shift. Mental Demands Requires energetic, team-oriented individuals with a positive “can-do” attitude and an ability to understand, accept and work with people who have disabilities and/or other barriers to employment. Machines & Equipment N/A. Working Conditions Mix of donation, production, and retail environments. Usually fast-paced. Other Requirements Must have excellent interpersonal skills and values that reflect the organization’s mission and values. Maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and appearance at all times. Must be 16 years of age or older. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, extended hours and holidays. Must pass a background check.
