Job Summary: The Registered Professional Nurse provides safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and their significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and approved organizational standards. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, educates patients and caregivers, and ensures quality and safety in patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry and Med-Surg experience
• Experience with ventilators
• 1 year of travel nursing experience (for travel positions)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program
• EPIC experience highly preferred
