TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Shakopee, Minnesota, 55379!

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State Nursing License required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIHSS preferred Description: Will work up to every other weekend. Trauma Level 3, Telestroke/Teleneurology, onsite Mental Health Assessment & Referral part of the time, Telemental Health. Sexual Assault Nurses will conduct SANE exams and Domestic Violence Exams. 18% pediatric patients, high volume mental health, and ETOH. Teleinterpretation services, social worker, financial counselor, and pharmacist available part of the time. Special procedures include moderate sedation, nitrous oxide, level 1 MI's, trauma codes, medical alerts for cardiac arrest, overdose, respiratory distress, code strokes, and code sepsis. Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Exams performed by trained nurses. Special equipment includes noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring devices, fluid warmers, IV support systems, bladder scanners, and cardiac monitors. Skills required include telemetry and nitrous oxide use. Additional experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring is preferred.
