The Auto Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing light trucks, SUVs, and passenger cars. Working under the service supervisor, this role involves vehicle inspection, performing diagnostics, and ensuring all repairs meet safety standards. The mechanic utilizes various tools and diagnostic equipment to provide efficient maintenance and parts replacement without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues
- Complete repair work on light trucks, SUVs, and passenger cars
- Provide routine maintenance services
- Replace worn or damaged parts as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively
