Forklift Operator

Job Description Title : Forklift Operator Location : Buffalo Grove, IL Hire Type : Direct Hire Shift : Days (6am - 6pm) and Nights (6pm - 6am) Compensation :$18.50 - 22/hr (Nightshift will receive a 10% shift differential) Overview: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our team. The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize materials efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Job Duties: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers. Move products, pallets, and materials throughout the warehouse or facility. Stack and store materials in designated areas. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues. Maintain accurate inventory movement records. Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies. Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and cleaning as needed. Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage. Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and shipping/receiving teams. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous forklift operating experience required. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.
