Travel CT Tech

Overview The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and provides timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Understand processing of CT system, sterile technique, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy. Operate CT equipment in compliance with departmental protocols and safety standards. Shift work as specified and provide timely diagnostic services under supervision of a Radiologist. Qualifications ARRT Certification for XR & CT BLS AZ License as both Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist Licensed by the state as a general radiographer Education: graduate of an accredited AMA school Schedule and Requirements Shift: Nights — Wed 1830-0300; Thurs & Fri 1830-0500; Sat 1830-0700 The Traveler will not be required to take call.
