Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Fully flexible schedule; every other weekend is required.

Assignment Details

Travel experience required; local candidates accepted at the same rate. Orientation is 12 hours, with a total of non-billable hours varying by contract length. Maximum 7 days of request time off (RTO) per contract, and only one day of RTO is allowed during the assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers are not accepted.
• Travel nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in Trauma I/II, community hospitals, ICU, or ED preferred.
• Experience with patient ratios of 4-6; med-surg ratio up to 1:7.
• Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission.
• Familiarity with Epic charting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across various units including Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU.
• Assist in the management of emergency and critical care patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Participate in rapid response and code team activities.
• Implement isolation precautions and ensure the use of PPE.

All compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to the start of the assignment, and failure to complete these may delay the start by approximately two weeks.
