The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and assist with key business decisions.What It Means to Work for EisnerAmper:You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industryYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balanceYou will join a culture that has received multiple top "Places to Work" awardsWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create innovative solutionsWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundationShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best workWhat Work You Will Be Responsible For:Assist the team through all phases of client engagements including work planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout consistent with established program delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other contract requirementsEnsure that the scope of work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are metEnsure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, while staying up to date on compliance-related mattersConduct research to resolve technical accounting issues as appropriatePrepare and maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close processesMay provide on-site, virtual or augmented business services for clientsAssist with preparing reports and deliverables for review, highlighting key issues, trends, and risks identified during project workProvide support on other consulting projects, as necessaryProactively communicates any issues/concerns relating to assignmentsPrepares for relevant certification exams until completed and maintains the required CPE for firm and licensing requirementsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field3+ years of public accounting experience, or 3+ years combined experience across public and industry accountingPreferred/Desired Skills:CPA or pursuing CPA certificationAbility to learn and understand new concepts, workflows, and software applications.Highly organized with strong attention to detailPerform effectively, efficiently, and with quality under tight deadlines while managing multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate a positive attitude, proactive nature, and be receptive to feedbackExhibit professionalism and maintain the highest level of confidentialityAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environmentTechnically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products (specifically Excel, and Word, Outlook)EisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
