Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician for an open heart surgery specialty in Fargo, North Dakota. The candidate must bring at least two years of CVOR experience and be familiar with procedures involving open heart, thoracic, vascular, robotic, and other complex cardiac surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fargo, ND
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH)
• Shift Hours: 10 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 07/06/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years CVOR experience
  • Experience working in a large hospital (250+ beds) and level 2 or higher facility
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • Must be listed on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry one week prior to start date
  • Must show proof of application within 3 business days of acceptance of offer
• Schedule:
  • 8 or 10-hour shifts
  • Stay late as needed for scheduled cases; this time is an extension of the regular shift
  • Call 1 to 2 shifts per week
  • Work every 4th or 5th weekend
  • Floating to other units/departments and ORs as needed
• Additional Information:
  • Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
  • Scrub color: Provided Ceil Blue
  • Must note in submission if the clinician has previously worked for Sanford Health; if yes, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission date
  • Cancellation policy allows the client to cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
  • Charting system used: EPIC
  • Licenses to submit: No
