Dispatch Operator

Position Mission Efficiently perform the truck loading process to ensure safe and reliable customer service. This position will report directly to our Dispatch and Security Supervisor. Responsibilities Operate the cement transfer pump safely and responsibly to refill other cement silos as needed, maintaining cement inventory and complying with environmental regulations. Operate dispatch equipment to load trucks per DOT regulations and company policy to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Perform required routine maintenance of dispatch equipment to keep pipes and distribution points clear to ensure reliable product flow and maintain the quality of cement. Troubleshoot dispatch equipment to assess problems that require other departments' involvement to repair, ensuring reliability and efficiency. Effectively communicate the required work to remedy dispatch equipment issues to other departments to ensure timely repairs. Perform housekeeping duties to minimize trip hazards as required by MSHA and company policy. Required to work odd shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities A high school diploma or GED is required. Weighmaster preferred, previous experience preferred. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
