Description

American Traveler is hiring an Oncology Infusion RN for a day-shift position requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Works in the Cancer Treatment Center Infusion unit
• Shift options include 8:00-4:30, 8:30-5, or 7-3:30
• No weekend or call requirements
• Role may include chemotherapy infusion administration or lab duties depending on experience and credentials

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required for placement in the infusion room
• Outpatient oncology infusion experience preferred for infusion room placement

Additional Information

• Administers blood products, anti-neoplastics, and supportive therapies via IV in the infusion room
• May draw labs from subcutaneous portacaths, remove home infusion pumps, and perform central line dressing changes if assigned to lab duties
• Role assignment depends on candidate's credentials and competency level
