Automotive Diagnostic Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate maintenance and diagnostic repairs on vehicles of all makes and models.

• Inspect vehicles thoroughly and communicate findings clearly to Service Advisors.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

• Use the correct tools, equipment, and manufacturer specifications in every repair.

• Support fellow team members to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the shop.

• Uphold integrity by recommending only necessary repairs and prioritizing customer safety.

• Document all work performed accurately and on time.

• Represent ME Automotive with professionalism, respect, and a community-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an automotive technician or diagnostic technician.

• ASE certifications preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and scan tools.

• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and repair instructions.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Must have personal hand tools for general repairs (specialty tools provided).
