Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Days - The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with experience in PET CT and nuclear medicine procedures. The role involves working with Siemens equipment in a department that does not perform nuclear cardiology exams. The position offers an excellent opportunity for first-time travelers and experienced technologists alike to join a dynamic healthcare team in a day shift setting.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT Nuclear (N) certification, BLS certification, NMTCB certification, PET certification, and a local license in hand. Minimum 1 year of experience and no specific experience requirement listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens equipment and PET CT procedures.
• Float: Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit. Modules are non-billable, all hours are factored in.
• Additional Information: The assignment involves working in a department that conducts various nuclear medicine procedures including 3 Phase, Abdominal, Bone, Brain, Cancer Survey, Cerebral Blood Flow, DTPA Aerosol, Flow/Function, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, I-123 Uptake Scan, Liver, Liver Flow, Liver Imaging, Liver Scan-Hemangioma, Perfusion, Renal, Ventilation/Perfusion, Ventricular, and Whole Body scans. The position requires demonstration of management or leadership skills and the ability to draw venous blood and safely store and dispose of radioactive materials.
