Your OpportunityThis position provides the right candidate with a unique opportunity to join the Schwab Technology Services Finance team. The team serves as a strategic business partner, providing financial insights, planning, and analysis to support decision-making and drive operational excellence. This role will lead performance analysis for key technology functions, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.This role will lead Finance support for multi-billion technology investment portfolios, Internally Developed Software Capitalization processes and play a key role in the Technology Business Management Office (TBMO). This role provides direct financial oversight and decision support to these cross-functional processes.What You Will DoLead Internally Developed Software capitalization processes, partnering with portfolio leaders and controllersBuild and maintain financial models to inform and influence decision making within investment portfoliosLead FP&A processes (monthly close, variance analysis, risk and opportunities, reporting, forecasting and annual planning) for significant and complex investment portfoliosEnhance reporting solutions and champion adoption of Technology Business Management framework and Total Cost of Ownership data across STS FP&A teamPartner with subject matter experts across the organization to improve cost transparency and total cost of ownership views of Schwab's technology investmentsWork cross-functionally to drive sustainable and efficient forecasting improvement efforts, including enhancements to financial systems leveraging GenAI capabilitiesMaintain sound risk management and control environment for work productPerform ad hoc analysis related to understanding business and technology trends and their expense impactWhat You HaveBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field5 years of experience in FinanceDeep understanding of internally developed software capitalization accounting and governanceSystems thinker with proven experience modernizing cross-functional financial processes and champion of GenAI capabilitiesProactive, self-starter, able to manage and deliver multiple projects and succeed in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment with minimal directionAbility to logically structure analytical problems and use critical reasoning skills to evaluate financial forecastsExcellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skillsComfortable partnering with senior leaders to drive business outcomesFinancial planning and scenario modeling experience is important
