IT Specialist
Department of Health and Human Services
Duties
Advises senior CMS, HHS, and Congressional stakeholders on complex IT investment decisions; including budget formulations and legislative proposals.
Preparing Congressional testimony support materials, legislative analyses, and executive briefings for HHS Departmental officials and oversight bodies.
Developing project management plans, overseeing contractor teams, managing competing deadlines, and negotiating cost, schedule, and deliverables with diverse stakeholders.
Collaborates with Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure all DASG systems maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and comply with FISMA, NIST cybersecurity frameworks, and CMS Acceptable Risk Safeguards (ARS).
