Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network & Cyber Security Engineer We’re seeking a Senior Network & Cyber Security Engineer to support refinery and industrial control system operations by designing, implementing, and monitoring secure network and cybersecurity solutions. NB: 12‑month contract (with possibility of renewal) What you’ll be responsible for: Designing and maintaining secure enterprise and industrial network architectures Supporting Cisco routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access solutions Leading vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation activities Administering SolarWinds monitoring platforms (NPM, NCM, NetFlow, Log Analyzer, SEM, IPAM) Preparing for audits, maintaining compliance documentation, and driving corrective actions Collaborating with OT teams to secure SCADA, DCS, and process control networks Key requirements: 8+ years in network engineering, cybersecurity, or industrial infrastructure Experience in refining, petrochemical, energy, utilities, or manufacturing environments Strong skills in Cisco routing/switching and enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point) Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies, and network security architecture Hands‑on experience with SolarWinds administration and compliance reporting Proven track record in audit readiness and regulated environments This role offers the opportunity to safeguard critical refinery operations, lead compliance programs, and directly influence the resilience of industrial networks.
