Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
A community hospital is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join its inpatient care team. The Med-Surg RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
- Provide wound care and assist with post-operative recovery
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse License (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience
