divh2Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner/h2pThe Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced practice nursing care to women across the lifespan, focusing on preventive care, obstetric and gynecologic services, and management of acute and chronic womens health conditions. This role functions collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliProvide comprehensive womens health care, including gynecologic and obstetric services/liliConduct patient histories, physical examinations, and health assessments/liliManage routine and complex gynecologic conditions within scope of practice/liliProvide prenatal, postpartum, and family planning care as applicable/liliPerform office-based procedures within scope of practice/liliPrescribe medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with licensure/liliOrder, interpret, and document diagnostic tests and results/liliEducate patients on reproductive health, wellness, and preventive care/liliCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services/liliCoordinate care transitions and referrals to specialists as needed/liliMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record/liliParticipate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives/li/ulh3Practice Setting/h3ulliOutpatient womens health clinic and/or inpatient hospital setting/liliMay include labor and delivery, postpartum, or gynecologic services depending on practice model/liliSchedule and coverage vary based on clinical needs/li/ulh3Patient Population/h3ulliFemale patients across the reproductive and post-reproductive lifespan/liliObstetric and gynecologic patients with acute and chronic conditions/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliMasters or Doctoral degree in Nursing/liliGraduate of an accredited Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or related NP program/liliNational board certification as a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (or equivalent)/liliEligible for unrestricted nurse practitioner licensure in the practicing state/liliDEA registration or eligibility/li/ulh3Skills Competencies/h3ulliStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills/liliKnowledge of womens health, obstetrics, and gynecology best practices/liliExcellent communication and patient education abilities/liliCommitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care/liliAbility to work collaboratively in a team-based environment/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliWomens health clinical practice setting/liliMultidisciplinary care model/liliFocus on preventive care, education, and patient advocacy/li/ul/div
