Registered NurseLocations: All Five Boroughs of New York City Shifts Available:7:00 AM – 3:00 PM9:00 AM – 5:00 PM3:00 PM – 11:00 PM11:00 PM – 7:00 AMPosition Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to support individuals in residential programs throughout New York City. The RN will play a key role in coordinating healthcare services, supervising staff, and ensuring the well-being of individuals served.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, coordinating and following up on healthcare servicesArrange medical services and issue referrals as neededProvide follow-up care for medical concernsConduct staff training on topics such as medication administration, hygiene, infection control, and first aidMonitor and manage communicable diseases and infection control protocolsParticipate in team meetings, annual reviews, and case conferencesMaintain and monitor staff health records in compliance with regulatory requirementsProvide immediate first aid and coordinate emergency careMaintain accurate medical documentation for each individualAdminister medications and supervise certified staff in medication administrationSupervise and mentor LPNs and less experienced RNsMaintain nursing office supplies and cleanlinessTransport individuals to medical appointments as neededConduct home visits as requestedStay current with nursing best practices and regulatory updatesPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Current New York State RN license and registrationCPR/BLS certificationStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with staff, individuals, families, and external contactsFamiliarity with adaptive equipment and assistive devicesWillingness to work across various program sitesValid New York State Driver's License preferred but not requiredEducation & Experience:Graduate of an accredited nursing programPreferred: At least 1 year of experience providing community-based health services to individuals with developmental disabilities
