Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Dothan, AL, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active AL or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (Floor 1) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract duration
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — ACLS may be pending at time of submission provided it is obtained prior to start
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required
• US Social Security Number required

Additional Information

• Candidates must permanently reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be accepted
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
