Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Missouri
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in high-acuity PCU nursing
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, and Bipap-Airvo devices
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of arterial line management
• Previous experience in a nicotine-free, fast-paced facility
• Experience in float nursing to lesser units

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least one year of specialized PCU experience in a similar high-acuity setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (1845-0715)
• Willingness to work every other weekend and major holidays
• No on-call requirement
• Orientation includes dedicated days at TUKHS and the Liberty facility, with clinical orientation on-site
• Ability to provide a minimum of 2 hours' notice for shift cancellations
• Must be nicotine-free and meet all facility-specific policies
