Security Supervisor (Full Time)

Job Category Corporate, Security Description The Security Supervisor will ensure the safety of Pebble Beach Company property and well-being of our guests and employees through the supervision of the Security Officers. Greet residents and visitors as they enter the property. Able to clearly communicate in writing the information obtained regarding reported incidents. Must be able to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certificates within the first 90 days of employment. Supervise, counsel and evaluate gate personnel on performance, appearance and interaction with visitors. Provide discipline and awards as necessary. Assist gate personnel with problems. Make suggestions to higher management on ways to improve performance. Perform the duties of a gate person while relieving them. Provide change to gate person on and as needed basis. Secure change from the General Cashiers or the banks as necessary. Verify banks before opening revenue day. Verify banks at the close of revenue day. Pick up revenue from safes at gates and deposit at the General Cashier safe at The Inn at Spanish Bay. Absolutely Required Skills: Minimum of two years’ experience working the gates. Basic math and accounting skills. Valid California driver’s license and DMV report required. Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays and overnight shift. High school diploma or equivalent. Desired Skills: Some experience in the security industry, military or law enforcement is preferred. Why work for Pebble Beach Company: Competitive Pay: $26.00/hour.
