F135 Engine Technician - 1st Shift (Onsite)

Key Requirements U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret level) required. Valid U.S. passport required. Responsibilities Serve on Pratt & Whitney Military Engines F135 Fleet Operations in Fort Worth, Texas. Perform work necessary to ensure engine production requirements and quality standards are met for overhaul and repair of F-135 engines or modules. Work on engines installed in the F-35 aircraft and uninstalled engines in a shop environment. Build, repair, inspect, and maintain Pratt & Whitney F135 gas turbine engines following maintenance information from team leaders, technical leads, supervisors, and site managers. Interface and engage with functions including Quality, Local FSEs, BEMs, customers, DCMA, JPO, LM, and others to resolve issues and ensure timely product delivery. Collaborate with Field Service Engineering to improve methods and processes for engine build and repair. Perform maintenance tasks on maintenance platforms, ascend/descend maintenance stands, lift 25 pounds to a height of 4 feet, and position self for inspections under engine rails and inside exhaust ducts. Work 1st shift; flexible to alternate shifts, overtime, or weekends; travel 40‑50% to customer/partner locations. Maintain accuracy and detail orientation of all work. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Proficient with computers and software programs such as Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to lift 25 pounds to a height of 4 feet and work in confined spaces. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years in aerospace maintenance field. 1+ year experience in tear‑down, build‑up, and inspection of jet engines. Experience in military aerospace maintenance (F135, F119, F100). Experience with borescope/boreblend, familiarity with engine shop maintenance operations, knowledge of non‑powered aerospace ground equipment, and ability to use and interpret electronic technical manuals. Depot‑Level (D‑Level) or Intermediate‑Level (I‑Level) maintenance experience. Airframe and power plant license or equivalent experience. Benefits Medical, dental, vision benefits.
