Quick Facts Location: 700 South Park Street, Madison, WI 53715 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 12/26/2027 Shift: 7 days on (Monday 6:00 AM - following Monday 7:00 AM) with day shifts (07:00 - 18:00), including one weekday and one weekend NOC call shift Hours/Week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Wisconsin state license required; BLS and ACLS certifications needed Experience: Minimum 2 years of inpatient cardiology experience with supervision of APPs preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $278.85/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and more Robust referral bonus programs 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide inpatient general cardiology care focused on adults within a hospital setting Perform and interpret echocardiograms and EKG readings Manage patients with chest pain, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and valvular disease Support the inpatient service team during daily rounds with APPs and other staff Participate in call coverage, including weeknights and weekends Contribute to patient care plans, review diagnostic tests, and update patient records in EPIC EMR Supervise APPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care What You Need Required: MD/DO licensed in Wisconsin Board Certified in Cardiology Minimum 2 years of inpatient cardiology experience Ability to supervise APPs BLS and ACLS certifications Preferred: Fellowship in General Cardiology; Cardiac Imaging experience is a plus Experience interpreting echocardiograms and EKGs About the Assignment Join this reputable hospital in Madison, WI, to provide high-quality inpatient cardiology services.
