Test Lead

The Graphics Validation Technician is responsible for supporting the validation and benchmarking of Intel graphics products, including GPU and NPU platforms. This role involves configuring test systems, executing validation tests, collecting performance data, maintaining test environments, and assisting engineers with issue reproduction, triage, and debug activities. Key Responsibilities Graphics Product Validation Execute functional, performance, and reliability validation tests on GPU and NPU platforms. Run benchmark applications and test suites as defined by validation engineers. Collect, organize, and document test results and observations. Reproduce issues and assist engineers with failure triage and debugging activities. Verify fixes and perform regression testing as required. Key Responsibilities Competitive Performance Validation Set up and execute competitive benchmarking studies against comparable industry platforms. Collect performance data and assist in analyzing benchmark results. Document performance comparisons and communicate findings to engineering teams. Support issue investigation and data gathering efforts related to competitive performance gaps. System Setup and Maintenance Configure test systems according to engineering requirements and test plans. Install and update BIOS/Firmware, BKC releases, graphics drivers, operating systems, and validation software. Maintain system readiness and ensure platforms remain in validated test configurations. Perform hardware component installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting as needed. Track system configurations and maintain accurate test environment documentation. Skill Requirements Laboratory Support Maintain validation lab equipment and test assets. Ensure proper inventory, organization, and tracking of validation systems and components. Coordinate system availability and readiness for validation activities. Follow established lab procedures and safety guidelines. Required Qualifications Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of PC hardware and system architecture. Experience installing and configuring operating systems, drivers, and firmware. Ability to follow test procedures and accurately document results. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PC assembly and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with graphics technologies, GPUs, and AI accelerators. Experience executing benchmark and validation workloads. Exposure to BIOS/Firmware updates and driver installation.
