Job Description

An established employer in Aurora, IL is seeking a  Warehouse Associate with stand-up forklift experience to support its 2nd shift operation. In this role, you will operate material-handling equipment including stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, turret equipment, and hand jacks to move, store, retrieve, and organize materials. You will help maintain accurate and efficient warehouse operations while following company safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.  Previous stand-up forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate stand-up forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely transport, store, retrieve, and locate materials.
• Pick and put away materials accurately and efficiently while supporting inventory and warehouse operations.
• Sort, stack, identify, audit, and locate parts and supplies as needed throughout the facility.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines and participate in team and safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility using 5S practices and complete additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Stand-up forklift experience is required , including experience with equipment similar to Raymond or Crown.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate computers and scanners; working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out simple written and verbal instructions while managing multiple tasks and changing operational demands.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and perform job-related bending, pushing, and lifting of more than 30 pounds.
• Must be available to work in both cold and hot warehouse environments.
• Steel-toe footwear is required on day one.
• GED is preferred but not required.

The base pay range for this position is $20.00–$21.00 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
