Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a highly qualified Civil Engineer with expertise submitting drawings to utilities and doing design for large infrastructure projects. The role is hybrid (virtual / Los Angeles, CA). Responsibilities Leading and coordinating project Design, planning, resourcing, Scope of Work preparation, progress reporting, technical activities, scope alternative analysis, and troubleshooting for engineering of major capital projects Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensuring project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost Planing, scheduling, and budgeting resources for projects Reviewing and evaluates technical project documents to identify gaps, errors, or areas for improvement Leading resolution of technical conflicts; exercising judgment and discretion to advise and recommend courses of action Responsible for QA of design and engineering outputs for internal and external resources Supporting other Civil Engineering and Business Activities as needed Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred 4+ years of experience in Civil Engineering 1+ years of Experience in Project Management/ Project Engineering Quality Control expertise Experience in civil engineering projects Stormwater Management and Site Development skills Knowledge of relevant design and engineering software Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations Knowledge of Project Management principles Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt and reprioritize on a day-to-day basis depending on new or existing challenges that may arise Strong interpersonal and communication skills Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Competitive salary Dental insurance Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance Wellness resources Paid Time off, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave Volunteering Days – 1 day to be used to promote young students in Energy, STEM, Construction or to participate in projects to reduce carbon footprint Cell Phone reimbursement - $50 dollars / month Retirement Account – with company match and Financial Advisor Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Flexible work from home options available. #J-18808-Ljbffr Terravanta Inc
