Support Renewable Project Development
- Partner with the Development team to support real estate acquisition, site selection, environmental avoidance, and project design through geospatial analysis.
- Evaluate prospective project locations using spatial constraints, land ownership data, surveys, and publicly available datasets.
- Create clear, accurate maps and cartographic deliverables , including interactive web maps.
- Compile project constraints from ALTA surveys, land agreements, internal reports, and public sources.
- Plot metes and bounds to verify land ownership and project boundaries.
- Perform advanced geospatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro , geoprocessing tools, raster datasets, and LiDAR.
- Use ArcGIS ModelBuilder and Python scripting to automate workflows and streamline repetitive tasks.
- Support data lifecycle management by maintaining and versioning geospatial databases in compliance with data governance standards.
- Use Enverus software to support site selection campaigns and project layout development.
- Identify and execute workflow efficiency projects that improve how GIS supports the broader business.
- Manage a full workload with shifting priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
✅ Required
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-5 years of professional GIS experience .
- Strong proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro , geoprocessing tools, and spatial analysis techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be in Austin, TX.
- GIS Certificate.
- Experience with ArcGIS Online , ModelBuilder, and automation workflows.
- Python scripting experience.
- Familiarity with CAD, Enverus, Power Automate, Salesforce, or web mapping tools (JavaScript).
- Exposure to renewable energy, real estate, or infrastructure development projects.
