We're looking for a GIS Analyst to support our Solar and Storage Development teams by delivering high-quality geospatial analysis, automation, and data insights that directly shape project site selection, design, and development strategy across the U.S.

Activities

What You'll Do
Support Renewable Project Development

• Partner with the Development team to support real estate acquisition, site selection, environmental avoidance, and project design through geospatial analysis.
• Evaluate prospective project locations using spatial constraints, land ownership data, surveys, and publicly available datasets.

️ GIS Analysis & Mapping

• Create clear, accurate maps and cartographic deliverables , including interactive web maps.
• Compile project constraints from ALTA surveys, land agreements, internal reports, and public sources.
• Plot metes and bounds to verify land ownership and project boundaries.

⚙️ Advanced GIS & Automation

• Perform advanced geospatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro , geoprocessing tools, raster datasets, and LiDAR.
• Use ArcGIS ModelBuilder and Python scripting to automate workflows and streamline repetitive tasks.
• Support data lifecycle management by maintaining and versioning geospatial databases in compliance with data governance standards.

Tools, Platforms & Innovation

• Use Enverus software to support site selection campaigns and project layout development.
• Identify and execute workflow efficiency projects that improve how GIS supports the broader business.
• Manage a full workload with shifting priorities in a fast-paced development environment.

Candidate Profile

? What You Bring
✅ Required

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2-5 years of professional GIS experience .
• Strong proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro , geoprocessing tools, and spatial analysis techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be in Austin, TX.

Preferred

• GIS Certificate.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online , ModelBuilder, and automation workflows.
• Python scripting experience.
• Familiarity with CAD, Enverus, Power Automate, Salesforce, or web mapping tools (JavaScript).
• Exposure to renewable energy, real estate, or infrastructure development projects.
