Land Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Land Project Manager to lead the delivery of land acquisition, development, and infrastructure projects from initial feasibility through to completion. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that programmes, budgets, risks, and quality standards are effectively controlled. This role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate technical, legal, planning, and construction activities.


Key responsibilities will include identifying and assessing land opportunities, coordinating due diligence, and supporting the preparation of feasibility studies, appraisals, and investment recommendations. You will manage external consultants and professional advisers, oversee planning and development processes, and monitor progress against agreed milestones. The role will also involve negotiating with landowners and other stakeholders, supporting acquisitions and disposals, preparing project reports, and maintaining accurate records of costs, risks, decisions, and contractual obligations. You will work closely with internal teams and delivery partners to resolve issues, manage change, and ensure projects achieve their intended outcomes.


Applicants should have proven experience managing land, property, development, or infrastructure projects, with a sound understanding of the planning, legal, financial, and technical considerations involved. A relevant qualification in property, land management, project management, surveying, planning, or a related discipline is desirable. You will be highly organised, commercially focused, and confident interpreting complex information and presenting clear recommendations to senior stakeholders. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential, together with proficiency in standard project management and reporting tools. Experience managing budgets, consultants, procurement processes, and project risk will be particularly valuable.
