Job Requirements & Qualifications

Previous Charge Experience: Minimum 1 year
Patient Ratio Experience: Not Specified
Charting System Experience: Experience with Community Hospital charting system preferred
Facility Experience: Not specified
Certifications: BLS required

Skills Required

Experience with adults and geriatric patients
Intramuscular and intravenous infusions
Patient education and teaching
Pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
Subcutaneous injections
Telephone triage
Minor injections (e.g., B12)

Unit Details

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: General GI, Crohn's Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Working closely with one designated physician
Special Procedures: Ambulatory care, patient follow-ups via phone and email
Lab Results: Coordination with off-site labs (Quest/LabCorp)
Managing patient discharge education, medication, and follow-up instructions

Special Equipment

Travel Compliance

No Nursys or background hits accepted.
Maximum of 7 days of RTO preferred per 13-week contract.
All RTO must be submitted within the application.

References: Two supervisor references required
Local Rules: Locals accepted at the same rate
Return Staff Policy: Must be gone a minimum of 1 year to return
Interviews: Manager may or may not interview candidates
