Jr. Field Service EngineerAn established Machinery Manufacturing firm is looking for a Jr. Field Service Engineer to join their team!The Jr. Field Service Engineer is tasked with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC machines for an OEM environment. This role requires up to 75% travel within the local tri-state area, with opportunities for additional domestic travel.Job Responsibilities:Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machinesReplace components such as ball screws, motors, and cartridge spindlesUtilize ladder logic and diagnostic functions across various control systemsProvide phone-based technical support for troubleshooting, on a daily basisAlign and adjust toolingRepair spindle bearingsAlign and interface bar feed unitsPerform first-part runoffs to ensure machine acceptance and functionalityTravel to customer sites for equipment repair, installation, and troubleshootingJob Requirements:Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time1-3 years of experience in CNC machinery / equipment / tooling1–2 years of Swiss machining experience (preferred but NOT required)Strong electrical, mechanical, and automation experience requiredProficiency in geometry and machining principlesDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including reading ladder diagrams and control diagnosticsAbility to interact professionally with customers both in person and over the phoneProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and demonstrate initiativeValid, clean driver's license and valid passport requiredSalary: $30-35hr + BonusOvertime Pay for over 40 hours!Apply if Interested!Job ID: 181045 #postMatthew Swanson
