Lab Assistant

Labcorp seeks a Lab Assistant for its Holyoke, MA facility to receive, process, and prepare clinical specimens for testing. The role involves equipment maintenance, data entry, and maintaining laboratory safety standards in a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating weekend shifts. Responsibilities
Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
Perform specimen and patient information scanning and data entry
Monitor lab equipment functionality and conduct routine maintenance
Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain test bench supplies
Maintain clean, safe work environment and complete administrative records
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate specimen identification
Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
Compensation: $20.25-$23.25/hr
