Occupational Therapist

Position Summary

Team members are licensed or certified professional occupational therapists who work within the oncology team structure to offer outpatient rehabilitation services. The role primarily serves Outpatient Care Powell, may service multiple sites, and requires travel during the workday. Rehabilitation team members report to the Rehab Services Manager as part of the James Ambulatory Services structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collaboratively develop plans of care.
• Provide a wide variety of treatment techniques.
• Provide education and support to families.
• Facilitate continuing care planning.
• Evaluate quality of services and participate in outcomes management activities.
• Embrace Intensive Caring values in interactions with others.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed and/or certified professional occupational therapist.
• Educational and certification requirements established by the profession, with degrees from accredited institutions.
• Clearance through the National Database of Practitioners.
• Typically one to two years of experience working in a medical setting (preferred).
