Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Carry out comprehensive intake assessments to gather detailed client histories and present concerns, aiding in the development of customized treatment plans. \n
- Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address a variety of mental health issues, utilizing practices that align with the latest research. \n
- Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, ensuring an integrative approach to client health. \n
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and other pertinent client information, in full compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. \n
- Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and training to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in the mental health field. \n
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality, ensuring that all interventions are legally compliant and morally sound. \n
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavioral health issues. You will provide essential support to families and groups in need, helping them navigate their mental health challenges during critical times.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field. \n
- A valid and active LPCC license in the state of California. \n
- Demonstrated experience practicing independently as a counselor, showcasing your ability to handle varied client needs effectively. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and understanding towards clients. \n
- Proficiency with technology, including telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and other relevant counseling software. \n

- Experience in providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with different backgrounds and mental health needs. \n
- Prior experience using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy. \n
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and the ability to develop safety plans for clients in distress. \n
