Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery to support a busy maternity unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and triage OB patients to ensure proper care and workflow.
• Manage labor cases, including overseeing timely and safe deliveries.
• Assist with vaginal and C-section deliveries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and other obstetric equipment.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including AWHONN guidelines and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current acute care experience in Labor and Delivery for at least 1 year.
• Minimum of 2 years’ professional nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Strong OB triage skills and circulating experience in C-sections preferred.
• Proficient with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Competent in managing labor patients and performing OB procedures.
