What You'll Do
  • Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
  • Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and manage resources effectively
  • Educate patients and families pre- and post-operatively
  • Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards
  • Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately
What You Need

Required:

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 2 years OR or surgical experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and delegation skills

Preferred:

  • Leadership or supervisory experience in an OR setting
  • Additional certifications in perioperative nursing or related specialties
