Public Area Cleaner

We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a janitor. You’ll be in charge of the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our building. A typical day includes vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing floors, shampooing carpets, and any additional maintenance duties as needed. Responsibilities Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily Complete regularly scheduled maintenance duties like cleaning windows, shampooing carpets, supplying restrooms, changing light bulbs, and performing minor repairs Keep the building safe, clean, and well-maintained Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees Qualifications Over 1 year of experience in cleaning services as a janitor or similar job Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic Great physical health and stamina Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite Compensation $17 - $17/hour About Lift Bridge Lodge The Lift Bridge Lodge is an independently owned hotel on the shores of Lake Superior.
