Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across inpatient and outpatient settings and formulate tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, bolster strength, improve balance, and restore function
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and recommended home exercises

• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive and coordinated patient care

Education Requirements

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Licensures and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (such as in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous, though not mandatory

Essential Skills

• Prior clinical experience is highly preferred
