Cincinnati, OH | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Float as needed within the hospital, including to the Cardiovascular/Pediatric ICU (CVPICU/CICU) based on census needs
• Adapt to unit needs with float assignments communicated at the start of each shift
• Work a minimum of every other weekend (EOW) and a minimum of 2 holidays during the contract
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation; Epic charting experience preferred
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including vaccination policies and background check procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – valid single-state Ohio license or multi-state compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must be fully vaccinated – no exceptions
• No previous license disciplinary actions (clean license history required)
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles will be considered local and local rates will apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in or exposure to Cardiovascular ICU (CICU/CVPICU)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to work all weekends for blocked schedule accommodation
