Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a Medical Surgical Oncology unit. The role requires assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards and organizational policies.

Job Details

• Position Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice using the framework for professional nursing practice and development. It is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their supervision and utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills.
• Required Qualifications: current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license, BLS certification; related experience in an acute care hospital or physician practice setting preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, coordinating and supervising activities of the healthcare team, and contributing to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes. They will also participate in educational and leadership activities within the unit.
